AN GARDA SIOCHÁNA, THE HEALTH SERVICE EXECUTIVE SOUTH AND TIPPERARY COUNTY COUNCIL

Public Notice Under European Communities (Control of Major Accidents Involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015

An Gárda Siochána, the Health Service Executive and Tipperary County Council are each required by the above-mentioned regulations to prepare plans to deal with effects off-site and to assist, where relevant, with the emergency response on-site in the event of a major accident at:

MSD Ireland (Ballydine), Kilsheelan, Tipperary,E91 V091

A draft copy of the External Emergency Plan for MSD Ireland (Ballydine)  will be available for examination for a period of 4 weeks between 9.30am and 4.30pm from the 27th July 2026  until the 21stAugust 2026, excluding weekends at the following locations:

  1. An Garda Síochána, Clonmel Garda Station, Emmet Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, E91 H799
  2. Community Healthcare Network 5, South Tipperary & North Waterford

St. Bridget’s Campus, Pill Road, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary

  1. Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Fire & Rescue Service HQ, Heywood Rd, Clonmel, E91 W935

Submissions can be made up to 16:30 hours on 21st August 2026
