Traffic Message - Sunday 4th December 2022 - 'Light Up A Life' Fundraiser at Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services

The Annual ‘Light up a Life’ Fundraiser will be held at Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services , Harold's Cross, Dublin 12 on Sunday 4th December 2022, starting from 12 noon and finishing at approximately 6pm.

A large attendance is anticipated at this event (as it is the first such one since 2019 due to the COVID19 pandemic) in the general area of Harold’s Cross, with heavy traffic flow both inbound and outbound, and in the general vicinity of the Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services, Harold’s Cross, along with parking restrictions in the surrounding areas, between 12 noon and 6pm on Sunday 4th December 2022.

Parking for a limited amount of vehicles will be available in St Claire’s Primary School Car Park located across from Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services.

Access for vehicles will be available via Mount Argus Road through to Mount Argus Church Car Park between 12 noon to 6pm.

However, it should be noted that there is the weekly 4pm Sunday Mass taking place at Mount Argus Church as per usual on that afternoon.

Divisional Roads Policing Units from Terenure Garda Station will be in charge of Traffic Flow in the general area and at the main entrance into Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, on Harold’s Cross Road between 12 noon and 6pm.

There will be heavier than usual traffic flow in the Harold’s Cross Road / Lower Kimmage Road / Mount Argus / Clonbrassil Street / Parnell Road areas, Harold’s Cross Bridge, and both inbound/outbound lanes along the Grand Canal.
