The Great Dublin Bike Ride on the 29/9/19

Traffic Management Plan for the Start of The Great Dublin Bike Ride on Sunday, the 29th September 2019.

The main message is:

  • North Quays closed from Infirmary Road to 3 Arena, from 07.00hrs to 09.00hrs, no traffic will be allowed access to the North Quays during these times.
  • There will be very limited crossing opportunities, if you need to get from one side of the city to the other via bridges over the Liffey, although these crossing points should be avoided if possible.
  • If you are traversing the City, use the M50 and Westlink Bridge.
  • Avoid using the Chapelizod By-pass to access the City Centre, if your destination is South City Centre use the Naas Road. If your destination is North City Centre use The Navan Road.

The key message is to avoid The North Quays , N4 and if going south side to north side or vice versa use the M50.
