Bandon Music Festival on 4th and 5th June  2022

Gardaí will be taking a zero tolerance stance to underage drinking, and breaches to liquor licensing and Road Traffic offences at the festival over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Patrons attending the festival are asked to ensure they have arrangements in place to get home if travelling distances to Bandon. Buses arriving into Bandon will be monitored closely and will be searched by Gardaí in order to detect underage drinking and breaches of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

This festival is a family friendly event.  Both the organising committee and Gardaí will be making every effort to ensure that this ethos remains in place throughout the weekend.

Parents will be required to attend Bandon Garda Station in order to collect any person under the age of 18 years old found by Gardaí to be intoxicated, in possession of alcohol, or controlled drugs.  Extra uniform Gardaí are on duty over the weekend.
