Gardaí at Kevin Street are seeking the assistance of any persons who may have witnessed an incident, at the canal at Portobello Harbour, Dublin 8.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, 3rd September, 2017 when a 23 year old man got into difficulty in the canal and was subsequently removed to St. James Hospital where he remains in critical condition. The man had travelled to Dublin from Galway with friends to attend the All Ireland Hurling Final on Sunday. He was separated from friends when the incident occurred.
