Fatal Road Traffic Collison Shannongrove, Banagher 23rd August 2017
Gardaí at Eyrecourt Co Galway are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Shannongrove, Banagher at approximately 00.05hrs this morning, Wednesday 23rd August 2017.
A 23 year old male (only occupant) was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe. This stretch of road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
