Aggravated Burglary at Clonberne, Galway on the 5/1/15

Gardai in Tuam are investigating an aggravated burglary that occured at Parkwest, Clonberne, Co. Galway on Tuesday 5th January, 2016 at approximately 7.30p.m.

A man and woman (both early 30s) were returning home from work with their two children when three men entered the house and assaulted the man and woman, and they received non life threatening injuries. The two children were uninjured. The men took a sum of money and phones and left the house.

They are described as being East European men, thinly built and were between 170 to 180 cm in height. They left the scene but it is not know what direction they took.

Investigating Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance for anyone who may have seen anything unusual in the area from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Tuesday night, 5th January, 2016 to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093 70840, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
