Man charged in connection with Drugs seizure-Cannabis Herb €120,000 Santry Dublin 20th November 2015

Gardaí from the Ballymun District Drugs Unit have charged a man, 33 years, following the seizure of cannabis herb with an estimated value of €120,000, pending analysis. The man was due to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon Saturday 21st November 2015.

 
 
Two other men, aged 30 and 41 years, were also arrested and have since been released from Garda custody without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
 
 
The seizure and arrests were made following the search of two vehicles at Cloghran, Dublin yesterday afternoon Friday 20th November 2015 at approximately 2pm.
 
 
The three men were detained at Raheny and Coolock Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
