Fatal Road Traffic Collision at Kilkieran, Co Galway on the 3/2/15

Gardaí in Clifden are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Kilkieran, Co Galway (R340) at approximately 11am this morning (Tuesday 3rd February 2015).

A male pedestrian in his 40’s was struck by a vehicle at the above location and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a  Garda forensic collision examination.
