As part of an on-going intelligence led operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the north inner city, Gardaí have seized diamorphine and arrested two men.

Gardai searched two men in Store Street, Dublin 1 yesterday evening, the 17th February 2015 who were in possession of diamorphine with an estimated value of €20,000 (pending analysis). The two men in their early 30's, were arrested at the scene and are detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Store Street Garda Station.

These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks.
