Discovery of body and arrest Limerick on the 22/4/15

Gardaí investigating the discovery of a body at a house at Barrack Hill, Limerick, shortly after 5.30am on the 22nd April 2015, have arrested a man.

Gardaí responding to a call about an incident at a house discovered the body of a man in his late 30's or early 40's. The body remains at the scene, which has been sealed off and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. The Garda Technical Bureau is expected at the scene later today.

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 50's at the scene and he is detained at Roxboro Road Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
