Gardai at Bailieboro, County Cavan, are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a Male in his early 30s at Lodge View, Cootehill, County Cavan, this morning at approximately 01.05am, Sunday, 29th September 2013.
The office of the State pathologist has been notified. The body is still at the scene. The area has been sealed off for a Technical examination.
A male, 29 years, has been arrested, in connection with this investigation, and is currently detained at Bailieboro Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
