Gardaí at Ronanstown investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the M50 northbound at Junction 7 (N4 Exit) at 10.30pm on the 27th January 2013, are making a fresh appeal for witnesses.
An 80 year old woman, the driver and only occupant of a car, was fatally injured in the crash. The woman with an address at Riverforest, Leixlip, Co. Kildare was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The male driver of a van was also injured but not seriously.
Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to this collision, or to anyone travelling on the M50 northbound between 10 and 11 pm on Sunday 27th January, to contact Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
