Man arrested Tallaght - Dissident Republican Activity 26th September 2012

Gardaí investigating the activities of dissident republican activity have arrested a 30 year old man in the Tallaght area following the search of a house.

The man was arrested at 1pm today (26/9/12) under Section 30 Offences against the State Act  1939. He is currently detained at Ashbourne Garda Station. 

During the search of the house investigating Gardaí recovered the component parts of a handgun.

Investigations are continuing.
