Update - Discovery of a female body in Mayfield, Cork on the 10/10/12

A Post Mortem examination at Cork University Hospital by Dr Margaret Bolster, Assistant State Pathologist, has been completed and the results indicate that there was no foul play involved.

Gardai in Mayfield are investigating the discovery of a body of a female aged in her early 40's in a house at Clifden Terrace, Summer Hill North on the 10th October 2012.

The body was discovered at approximately 9.30p.m and Gardaí were notified.  The body remains at scene.

The scene is preserved pending a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
