Drug seizure and man arrested in Rathmines, Dublin on the 19/10/12

As part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs Gardai attached to the Terenure District carried out a search and arrest operation on the 19th October 2012.

During the operation Gardai searched a house in the Rathmines area this afternoon and seized heroin with an estimated street value of €140,000 (pending analysis).  A male aged in his late 20's was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Rathmines Garda Station.
