Shooting incident Ballyfermot 25th November 2012

Gardai at Ballyfermot are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident which occurred on Sunday 25th of November 2012.

At approximately 0010 hours a 33-year-old male was shot in the leg during an incident at Le Fanu Road, Ballyfermot.

He was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

An examination of the scene has taken place and the road has reopened to traffic.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
