Serious injury traffic collision Donegal 24th November 2012

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision which occurred at Coneyburrow Road, Lifford, Co Donegal on Saturday 24th November 2012.

At approximately 7.15pm a female pedestrian aged in her 40s was seriously injured when she was struck by a motor car. She was taken by ambulance to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry. The occupants of the car were not injured.

The road remains closed pending a technical examination and diversions are in place.
