Cannabis seizure Waterford 30th March 2012

As part of an ongoing investigation into the cultivation, sale and supply of Cannabis in the Waterford area an apartment was searched this afternoon by the Waterford Divisional Drugs unit.

During the search a cannabis cultivation unit was discovered. Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €60,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.

 

A male aged in his 30's was arrested and is currently detained at Waterford Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
