Luas collision at Davitt Road, Dublin on the 28/6/12

A female pedestrian in her 30s has been seriously injured following a collision with a Luas tram at the Black Horse Luas stop close to the junction of Naas Road and Davitt Road.

The incident happened shortly after 8.05 pm on the 28th June 2012.  The injured woman has been taken to St James' Hospital.  A Garda investigation is under way at the scene.

 
Luas service is halted between Heuston Station and the Red Cow.
