Update : Shooting incident, Corduff Park, Dublin 15, 27th March 2011

Gardai at Blanchardstown are appealing for information and witnesses following this mornings shooting incident at Corduff Park.

The victims were standing in the middle of Corduff Public Park at approximately 1115am when they were approached by two males dressed in dark clothing who opened fire   before escaping on foot in the direction of Edgewood Lawns.

Gardai are appealing in particular to anyone in the Corduff Park / Edgewood Lawns area between 11am and 1130am this morning to contact them.

An incident room has been set up at Balanchardstown Garda Station, Gardai from Technical Bureau are examining the scene and searches are being carried out in the area.

There is no change to the medical condition of the victims.

Gardai at Blanchardstown are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident which occurred at approximately 1120am this morning at Corduff Park,  Dublin 15.

Three males all aged in their 20s were shot during an incident at Corduff Park.

The men were taken by Ambulance to Connolly and the Mater Hospitals. One of the men is believed to be in a critical condition and the other two are described as serious.

The scene has been sealed off pending a technical and forensic examination.
