Discovery of human limb on Dollymount Beach, Dublin on the 8/2/11

Gardai at Clontarf who are investigating the discovery of a human limb on Dollymount Beach on 8th February 2011, can confirm that a D.N.A. match has been made and the limb is that of an Irish male.

The identification was made following international cooperation through Interpol and through the use of D.N.A. analysis.

Gardai are in the process of contacting family members in Ireland
