Drug seizure and arrests at Glasnevin, Dublin on the 11/9/09

Two men aged were arrested and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station.

 

Gardai from the Garda National Drug Unit (GNDU) supported by the Finglas Drug Unit carried out a search of  a house in the Glasnevin area of Dublin today, the 11th September 2009.

 

During the course of the search cocaine (subject to analysis) with an estimated value of approx. €3million was seized.  Gardai also discovered various items associated with cocaine production and believe the premises was being used as a cocaine mixing factory.  Two men aged in their 20’s were arrested and are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
