Drug Seizure at Mullingar, Westmeath on the 21/9/09

One male was arrested and brought to Mullingar Garda Station.

 

Gardai in Mullingar supported by the Regional Support Unit searched a house at Ushnagh Court, Mullingar.  During the course of the search 10 Kilos of Cannabis resin (subject to analysis) was found with an approximate value of €70,000. 

 

One male (62yrs) was arrested and brought to Mullingar Garda Station. He is currently being detained under the provision of section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
