Gardaí at Tallaght are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the driveway of a house on Tymon North Park shortly before 8.30pm on the 13/3/09.
A 27 year old man was shot a number of times by a lone gunman and died at the scene.
A 26 year old female was shot in the leg and has been taken to Tallaght Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The scene has been preserved and the services of The Garda Technical Bureau and The State Pathologist have been requested.
No arrests have been made.
