Gardaí at Portlaoise are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N80 at Moneyquid, Killy, Mountmellick, Co. Laois at approximately 7.45am this morning 9th March 2009.
Gardaí at Portlaoise are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N80 at Moneyquid, Killy, Mountmellick, Co. Laois at approximately 7.45am this morning 9th March 2009.A van and a car were in collision. The male driver of the car in his 40s was fatally injured (only occupant). The male driver of the van received serious injuries.
The scene of the collision is closed pending a Garda collision forensic examination.
