The search was carried out under Operation Anvil.
As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Finglas area Gardaí from the Blanchardstown and Finglas District Drugs Unit searched a house in the Lanesborough area of Finglas earlier today, the 25/6/09.
This search was carried out under Operation Anvil.
During the course of the search in excess of 200,000 Benzylpiperazine tablets (BZP) were seized. This seizure, subject to analysis, has a potential street value of 1.17 million euro.
In addition, €7,500 worth of Cannabis Herb was seized.
A 20 year old female and a 17 year old male were arrested at scene.
They are both presently detained under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
