Armed Robbery at Cootehill, Cavan on the 26/09

Gardai are appealling for witnesses who may have been in and around the Cootehill area and may have seen a number of individuals acting suspiciously.

 

Gardai in Cootehill are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the Ulster Bank In Cootehill, Co. Cavan at approx. 4.40pm today, the 26 June 2009. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. A car was found burnt out about 2 to 3 miles away on the road to Monaghan in an area known as Tullyvin.

 

Gardai are appealling for witnesses who may have been in and around the Cootehill area and may have seen a number of individuals acting suspiciously, in particular they would like to trace the movements of a red Toyota Corolla which was found burnt out about 2 to 3 miles away on the road to Monaghan in an area known as Tullyvin. Either before or after the robbery which happened at approx. 4.40pm.
