Suspect device at Rutland Grove, Dublin on the 10/7/09

A number of houses were evacuated and the scene was sealed off.

 

Gardai at Sundrive Road Garda Station are investigating the discovery of a suspicious device on Rutland Grove Dublin 12 at approx 19.45 hrs on the 10th July 2009.

 

A number of houses were evacuated and the scene was sealed off. The Army disposal team from Cathal Brugha Barracks attended the scene and declared the device an Elaborate Hoax.

 

The scene was declared safe at 21.30hrs and residents were allowed return to their homes.
