Fatal road traffic collision at Laytown, Meath on the 1/11/08 - and name.

A car and a van were in collision at Ballymagrorty, which is on the main road between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town (N15).

 

Gardai have named the 27 year old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Saturday the 1st of November 2008 as Barry Murphy of Anneville Crescent, Drogheda, Co. Louth.

Gardai at Laytown, Co Louth are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Beamore Road, Drogheda at approx 3.30pm today 1st November 2008.

A motor-cycle and a lorry were in collision. The 27 year old male motorcyclist was taken to the Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda where he was pronounced dead.

No other person was injured.  

The scene of the collision is being examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
