Appeal - shooting in Tallaght on the 22/10/08 - and updates.

Garda at Tallaght are appealing to the public for their help in relation to the shooting of a young man at Russell Rise on the 22/10/08.

 

As part of their investigation into the shooting of a 27 year old man at Russell Rise in Tallaght, on the 22nd of October 2008, Gardai have arrested a 28 year old man.  The arrest took place in the Tallaght area this morning the 6th of November.

The arrested man is detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act at Tallaght Garda station and may be detained for up to 72 hours.

The 27 year old victim of the shooting remains in a serious condition at Beaumont Hospital.

Garda at Tallaght are appealing to the public for their help in relation to the shooting of a young man at Russell Rise at 6.30am on the 22/10/08.  In particular they are appealing for any sightings of an unregistered White Honda INTEGRA ‘R’ type car stolen from a garage on the Naas Road on the morning of  Wednesday the 22/10/08.  The car was located at Mountpellier View at 7.30am on the 22/10/08 and may have been involved in the commission of this crime.
