Suspicious device at Clondalkin on the 21/7/08.

Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating the discovery of a suspicious device in the Lindsfarne area of Clondalkin, Dublin.

 

Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating the discovery of a suspicious device in the Lindsfarne area of Clondalkin at 12.30am this morning (21/7/08). 

A call was received that an object had been thrown through the front window of a house. 

Gardai and the Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team attended the scene and removed the device. 

The area was evacuated for a time and the device was made safe.  It has been removed for a full technical examination. 

A full investigation is now underway.
