Robbery at Kilbarrack Post Office on the 5/8/08.

Gardaí at Raheny are investigating the robbery of the post office in Kilbarrack that occurred on the 5/8/08.

 

Gardaí at Raheny are investigating the robbery of the post office in Kilbarrack that occurred at approximately 11.40am today. 

Two men entered the premises and made demands for money, one was armed with what is believed to be a handgun and the other was armed with a knife and a hammer. 

There were two members of staff and two customers in the post office at the time. There were no shots fired and no persons were injured. 

These persons got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and made their getaway in a 96 D registered Nissan 100x.  This car was located a short time later abandoned on Beechbrook Grove.
