Group Award
Group of two or more, making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live.
Special Achievement Award
Overcome difficult circumstances, defied all the odds and whose commitment deserves recognition.
Community Safety Award
Through a crime prevention or safety initiative/innovation, have made their community a safer place to live.
Winners of Divisional Awards are submitted to the national judging panel who select 5 winners in each category. Details of when and where the National Awards is due to take place is to be confirmed.
To find out if your area is planning a Garda Youth Awards, you should contact your local Community Garda, Juvenile Liaison Officer or your local Garda Station.
The Waterford/Kilkenny Garda Division Youth awards will take place on Wednesday the 20th of May 2026 at 7 p.m. at the Tower Hotel, Waterford City. The closing date for entries is 5pm, Friday the 1st of May 2026.
