Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred on the N24 near Aglish South, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny on Friday 25th September 2026.
The single vehicle collision involving a car occurred at approximately 0:05am.
An adult male driver (aged in his late teens), was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford and subsequently Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The road is closed pending examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the N24 near Aglish South, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny between 11:30pm on Thursday 24th and 0:10am on Friday 25th September2026, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
