Gardaí from the Midleton Crime Unit, assisted by the Cork County Divisional Drugs Unit and other regional units, conducted a search under warrant at a domestic residence in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork on Wednesday 16th September 2026 as part of ongoing operations targeting criminality in the region.
As a result of the search, Gardaí have seized over 2 kilograms of suspected cocaine to the estimated street value of over €200,000. Gardaí have also seized vacuum packages of suspected cannabis to the estimated street value of over €112,000.
A male in his 20s was arrested at the scene and conveyed to a Garda Station in the Cork County Division. He has since been charged and is due to appear in front of the Midleton District Court this morning, Thursday 17th September 2026 at 10:30 am.
Investigations are ongoing.
