Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving two vehicles at Uregare Cross, Bruff , Co. Limerick. The incident occurred at approximately 2:45pm on Thursday 27th August 2026.
The male driver of the first vehicle (aged in his 50s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the second vehicle (aged in her 60s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick with life-threatening injuries.
She has since been pronounced deceased on Wednesday 9th September 2026.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling in the area around the time of the collision, and who may have any information about this incident to contact them.
