10/09/2026 Update (3): Fatal Shooting Incident, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin- 5th July 2026

Gardaí continue to investigate the fatal shooting incident which occurred in Patrician Park, Kill Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin on Sunday 5th July 2026.

This morning, Thursday 10th September 2026, Gardaí arrested a male (aged in his 40’s) in connection with the investigation.

He is currently detained pursuant to Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.

Investigations are ongoing.
