Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred at Reisk, Dunhill, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Tuesday 8th September 2026.
The single vehicle collision involving a car occurred at approximately 11:55pm.
A passenger of the car (an adult male aged in his late teens) has been transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A second passenger (an adult female aged in her late teens ) was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area of Reisk, Dunhill, Tramore Co. Waterford between 11.20pm on Tuesday 8th September and 12:20am on Wednesday 9th September 2026, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
