08/09/2026 Operation Thor – Two Arrests and Court Appearance – Burglaries, Dublin East Region, 8th September 2026

As part of Operation Thor and the ongoing investigation into a number of thefts and burglaries of premises in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR) East, Gardaí have arrested two men on Monday 7th September 2026.

The two men (aged in their 30’s and 40’s) are currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Dublin region.

They have since been charged, and are expected to appear before Dun Laoghaire District Court this morning, Tuesday 8th September 2026 at approximately 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
