Today, 1st September 2026, as part of an intelligence-led operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Serious Crime South, Divisional Drugs Unit, and Revenue Customs Service, Officers from Revenue Customs Service seized 11.65 kilograms of suspected Cannabis Herb in West Dublin.
The estimated value of the seizure is €163,000.
A female (aged in her 30s) was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Investigations are ongoing.
