26/10/2026 Update (4): Court Appearance - Murder investigation into discovery of a body, Mallow, Co. Cork, Thursday 15th October 2026

The male (30s) arrested on Monday 19th October 2026 in connection with the investigation into the discovery of the body of an adult male in Ballyellis, Mallow, Co. Cork on Thursday 15th October 2026, has been charged.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Fermoy District Court at 2:30pm this afternoon, Monday 26th October 2026.

The woman (40s) arrested in connection with this investigation has been released from custody.  A file will prepared for the DPP.
