As part of an ongoing investigation by Gardaí attached to the DMR East Divisional Economic Crime Unit, with assistance from the Serious Crime Units, a series of planned arrests took place in the Dublin area today, Thursday, 22nd October 2026.
During the operation, four individuals have been arrested in connection with separate money laundering investigations.
Three of those arrested, a male in his 20s and two females aged in their 20s and 30s are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Garda Stations in South East Dublin. A fourth male (20s) was arrested for the purpose of being charged.
Investigations are ongoing.
