Seven individuals are scheduled to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court this morning, charged in connection with an investigation into an alleged incident of violent disorder at a property on Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, in August 2024.
Gardaí responded to reports of a violent disturbance at the property on Friday the 30th of August 2024. Several persons were taken from the scene to the Mater Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Following a comprehensive investigation by the Special Detective Unit, a file was prepared and forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions. Earlier this month, seven males, ranging in age from their 20s to their 50s, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
All seven are expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court No. 4 at 10:30am this morning.
