Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the N13 at Correnagh, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, that occurred on Wednesday 7th October 2026 at approximately 5.20pm.
The incident involved a car and a motorcycle.
The male driver of the motorcycle (aged in his 50’s) was conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The female driver of the car (aged in her 60’s) was also conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital, for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
The N13 road is currently closed for technical examination, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
In particular, anyone who was in the vicinity of Correnagh, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, on Wednesday 7th October 2026 between 4.30pm and 5.30pm is urged to contact investigating Gardaí.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the area during that time are also asked to make it available to Gardaí.
