Gardaí in Drogheda are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on John Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, on Friday, 25th September 2026.
The incident, which involved a jeep and an e-bike, occurred at approximately 6:45pm. The female e-bike rider, aged in her 20s, sustained serious injuries and continues to receive Hospital treatment.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. In particular, anyone who was in the vicinity of Dublin Road, Marsh Road, or John Street, Drogheda, between 6pm and 7pm on the evening in question is urged to contact investigating Gardaí.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the area during that time are also asked to make it available to Gardaí.
