As part of ongoing investigations under Operation Tara, Gardaí attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau conducted an operation in the North Inner City area of Dublin today, Monday 2nd November 2026.
During the operation, three firearms, ammunition and cocaine with an estimated street value of €2.5 million, subject to analysis, were seized. A number of mobile phones were also recovered.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, and a woman, aged in her 20s, were arrested pursuant to Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.
They are currently detained at a Dublin Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Investigations are ongoing.
