The second man (20s) who was arrested on the afternoon of 19th March 2026 in connection with this investigation, has been charged.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court at 5.45pm today, Saturday, 21st March 2026.

The man (50s), who was injured during the incident remains in a serious condition in University Hospital Limerick.
