Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving a bus and a pedestrian which occurred on Station Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow on Thursday 12th March 2026, shortly before 6:00pm.
The male pedestrian (aged in his 80s) was conveyed to St Vincent’s University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased on the evening of Friday 13th March 2026.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
A technical examination of the scene was conducted.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users and pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area of Station Road, Bray between 5:40pm and 6:10pm are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
