Update (1): Arrest – Fatal Road Collision, Blake’s Cross, North Dublin, 31st January 2025

Gardaí continue to investigate a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the R129 near Blake’s Cross on 31st January 2025.

Today, Friday 20th March 2026, Gardaí arrested a male (aged in his 40s) in connection with this investigation.

He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.

Investigations are ongoing.
